Lintels & Bolt-Ups
FabSpeeds Pro-Steel lintels are designed to simplify soffit and lintel construction. Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, these BBA Certified units provide a fast, consistent solution where speed, finish, and reliability are essential. When using our Pro-Steel units, we can collect bricks directly from site to ensure a perfect batch match. These are then cut into slip form, bonded to the lintel, and finished to deliver a seamless, high-quality appearance that integrates effortlessly with surrounding masonry by matching any bond needed.
Pro-Steel soffit bolt-ups are economical, non-structural components made from stainless steel for use below 18 metres. Their lightweight yet durable design offers versatility in bond patterns and soffit styles, making them a practical choice for achieving “hanging” brickwork. For larger spans or structural applications, Pro-Steel units are also available as fully structural components, offering the same visual consistency with the added strength required for load-bearing use.
Pro-Lock
Pro-Lock is FabSpeed’s precision-engineered solution for mechanically restrained, brick-faced soffits and lintels for use at height. Built around a robust stainless steel backing, it combines factory-bonded slips using A2-rated adhesive with mechanical fixings for enhanced durability and security. Pro-Lock is a BBA Certified system, offering options for both non-structural and fully structural units to suit a wide range of applications-particularly suited to mid to high-rise developments. Compatible with Michelmersh clay bricks and other suppliers’ products, Pro-Lock delivers the quality, speed, and visual consistency that modern construction demands – all manufactured off-site under controlled conditions for complete reliability.
